The consultation called by the Seville City Council aims to know the opinion of Sevillians and the owners of booths and fair carriages on the model of the April Fair and its start date. The initiative seeks to gather information on whether the traditional beginning on Lighting Monday and its end on Sunday with the fires is preferred., or the current model that begins on a Saturday with lighting and concludes the following Saturday with fires.
The voting period will extend from 9:00 Tuesday hours 23 April until the 20:00 Thursday hours 25 April. Voting will be carried out through the portal consultaferia.sevilla.org, which will be operational from Tuesday 9 April. Those who need assistance will be able to access points established in the districts.
All Sevillians of legal age registered in the city will be able to participate in the vote., as well as the owners of booths or carriages officially registered in the Mayor's Festivals delegation of the City Council., even if they are not registered.
To cast the vote, a code must be obtained via SMS, providing personal information such as ID, date of birth and surname. This code will be available from Tuesday 9 April until the consultation closes on Thursday 25 April.
