The Feria de Abril de Sevilla will have for the first time this year 2024 a hospital booth inside the real. The Seville City Council will install an advanced health post, equivalent to a first aid station, inside the grounds of the April Fair in Seville 2024. This is a new initiative that will allow for more direct and faster coverage of the Fair, avoiding delays in health care..

This Advanced Health Post will be located in the 103-105 from Juan Belmonte Street and will open in schedule of 13:00 a 00 hours. Posteriorly, The healthcare team will be moved to the general facility located in the Parc des Princes.

The delegate of major festivals, Manuel Ales, has explained that, considering that health care during the Fair constitutes a significant part of the assistance provided by municipal emergency services, this position inside the enclosure will allow quick attention and effective during certain hours of the day, reducing the need to move medical vehicles, like ambulances, to treat less urgent cases.

In particular, during the horse ride, The difficulty of accessing ambulances within the premises can cause delays in medical care, prioritizing the most serious pathologies and leaving behind others of less urgency. To address this situation, will be established three mobile units on foot and two ambulances within the premises, equipped with medical personnel and first aid material, including automated external defibrillators (DEAS).

Alés highlighted that this new outpost will improve the quality of service by facilitating stabilization, assessment and eventual evacuation of patients. Also, will allow faster and more efficient care, avoiding the unnecessary mobilization of health resources and possible interruptions in the development of the Paseo de Caballos.

This advanced health post will function as a complement to the coverage of the Central Fair Hospital, that will be operational 24 hours of the day from the Saturday of the lighting until the following Saturday, once the fireworks are over. The Central Hospital of Feria will be located behind the Lipasam building on Avenida Alfredo Kraus, next to the Parc des Princes.
